"Sandy, a jazz ainger herself, lines up several singer friends each
show to perform with her and the Larry Luger Jazz Trio. Some weeks Sandy has Broadway nights and they perform hits from Broadway
and guest singers from Broadway join her to the delight of the guests. Sandy, who sings from Opera to jazz is also a recognixed
artist (ala Georgia O'Keefe), a writer and an ardent asmirer of Dorothy Parker, the Round Table and the history of the Algonquin.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT A SUNDAY SHOW
ON SUNDAYS, THE LOBBY FILLS WITH NEW YORKERS AND HOTEL GUESTS WHO ALL VIE FOR THE
BEST SEATING POSSIBLE. CHAIRS ARE BROUGHT OUT TO ACCOMMODATE THE OVERFLOW. WAITERS SCURRY TO TAKE ORDERS AND THERE IS AN AIR
OF EXPECTANCY AS ALL GET COMFORTABLE. THE SHOW SEEMS TO HAVE GENERATED DEVOTED FOLLOWERS.
AT EXACTLY 7 PM THE SHOW BEGINS WITH SANDY JORDAN, AND IN A HEARTBEAT THE AUDIENCE
IS WHERE IT SHOULD BE……….IN THE PALM OF HER HAND. SANDY, BESIDES BEING AN ACCOMPLISHED SINGER IS A RELAXED
AND WARM MC WITH A DEFINITE FLAIR FOR COMEDY.

Sandy, I wonder if hotel management realizes how much the guests
appreciate your show as a value-added, and what a “New York Experience,” it is? The type of thing one could only
find in New York with its vast talent pool. The guests have told me as much while I was standing there with my camera, or
after hearing me sing.They are thrilled this type of thing was going on. It’s the kind of thing they go back home and
talk about. I can’t imagine all of the people sitting in that lobby on a Sunday night just happened to sit there. Many
were probably going to go out and drink elsewhere. I don’t think management fully understands the public relations value
of having music there on a Sunday night.
