Angelo's career began with a two year stint as drummer with the John Dell Trio with vocalist Tony
Bennett.
Angelo played with the army band and then went on to other band work for luminaries such as Gerry
Mulligan, Michey Crane, Billy Butterfield, Zoot Simms and Sol Yaged, etc. until he joined the Joe Barone - Lily
Ann Carol Group. This association was to last for over 18 years.
